There are four fury big cats that interests me. But only one that fascinated me a long time ago. The lion is a mammal. It means it has fur. The lion is a carnivore or in easier terms, a meat eater. The lion is considered king of the forest. The lion's mate is called lioness and the lion's cubs are called cubs. This animal is very fascinating. Read on to find out more...

Facts about the Lion


Lion is so amazing that with one thunderous roar it frightens mostly every animal in the area. Sadly people kill this animal for fur and other things. But keep in mind that this animal can hunt down people and kill them. This animal is vulnerable (threatened). Some jungle people need to watch their back. Remember that the lion aren't the only animals alive. There are more than 10,000 animals. What is your favorite animal?

    I just read your post and few things interested me. I never knew lions were being killed for their fur! How many get killed a year?

    i love lions too. my favorite animal though are the penguins,white tigers, and the snow wolf.do you have another favorite animal?
